I'm currently trying my best to procrastinate and, most conveniently, I have a blog to help me do just that. So here they are. Five things I love and five things I hate.
Love
1. When it storms. No matter how destructive, and no matter how high the water flooding our street is.
2. My guitar. Not even the fact that I can play it. I love the guitar itself. If I didn't think it seemed too obsessive, I probably would've named it.
3. Playing with fire. Only in the literal sense, though. I'm not a risk-taker.
4. Those few moments right before you go to sleep and right after you wake up, where you're suspended somewhere in between conscious and unconscious, and you can't remember a single thing.
5. The feeling that no time whatsoever is passing. Like the moment's just going to last forever.
Hate
1. Chatspeak. I loathe, abhor and hold great disapproval for chatspeak. Why murder the English language to save a few seconds?
2. Getting older. Peter Pan has always been one of my favourite movies.
3. Biting my tongue. In both the literal and figurative senses. I bit my tongue in the former just now. Don't even get me started on the pain it causes me to bite it in the latter.
4. Skinnies. I've had three pairs of skinny jeans in the last three years and none of them let me fully bend my knees. Give me straight-legs any day.
5. How generation Z is going to grow up with CGI kids' movies, instead of animated.
Honestly.
