If you think this is bad...

... you should see how often I update my fanfiction.

Yes, I did the extended title gag again. Humour me - it seemed fitting. After all, this looks like it's going to become a regular thing. The delayed posts, that is. But I don't suppose it really matters. Not to anyone reading, at least. But it matters to me! Pardon the melodrama, I'm sort of desperate with... And now I can't think of the rest of the sentence. The point is, I have five days of school left and five pieces of assessment. Allow me to list them. Then again, it's not like anyone can stop me.

On Monday, I have a SOSE exam and a Drama performance. On Tuesday, my Science EEI writeup is due, as well as my English oral and short performance of Romeo and Juliet. Wednesday, I only have my English exam. Also, my parents are going away on Tuesday, and my younger brother and myself are being looked after by one of my older brothers and his wife, whose daughter I will be spending most of my time playing with. Not that I have an issue with that. I rather enjoy it. She looks up to me, figuratively and literally since she's 18 months old, and therefore is very easy to influence. Tonight I taught her how to laugh evilly, which she then proceeded to do so while throwing toys at me.

Speaking of the word 'proceeded', another older brother of mine recently rented Resident Evil 5, which I watched him play today. Anything to avoid assignments. Anyway, we had the subtitles on for the movie scenes, and at one point a character (Sheva, I believe) said something along the lines of, "Chris Redfield, your reputation proceeds you." I imagine she must have meant 'precedes', which is the standard phrase, as opposed to stating that his reputation continues on after him. Though, really, I suppose that could make sense. If she was expecting him to die at some point. But he's Chris Redfield! No mortal could slay him!

I know, dissecting typos in video games is a sign of someone struggling to find something to write about. But I don't need to write about anything interesting, I just need to procrastinate for a while longer. Like I said, anything to avoid assignments. It's actually gotten to the point that this is the last thing I can find to fill in some time. Imagine, the whole internet at my fingertips (except the R-rated stuff) and yet my only occupation is blogging! I suppose I could watch David Lehre's Youtube videos again...

Perhaps I ought to recap life's general happenings as of late, hm? Well, I've been counting down the days until school's over - in between doing assignments, of course - as well as attempting to swap, switch and trade shifts at work so as to avoid working the busy nights. I've been working there less than half a year, you know. Busy nights are too difficult for me. Unfortunately, while it worked last week, I have no choice this week, as three of the cashiers are on schoolies. So, keeping in mind that I worked today (Saturday) already, I am working Monday, Thursday and Friday. Pro - more money. Con - Thursday and Friday are just about as busy as it gets. I'm not quite sure I won't have some kind of breakdown.

But I've rambled on for long enough. Until next time, know that I will miss you.

Honestly.
