I didn't post for five days?

Insanity. Chaos. Madness. How could this have possibly happened? Here I am, on holidays, sitting around with nothing to do and nothing to write about, and... Oh. That would explain it. I really don't have much to say. Since Tuesday, I have gone for a walk, been to the optometrist and worked twice. Wanna hear about it?

No choice in the matter, I'm afraid. The optometrist was first. On... Thursday, I believe... Think. Anyway, I'm doing a two week trial run of some daily contacts. So far, not so good. I need to blink constantly, else they make my eyes blur over. Also, I poke myself in the eye many, many times when putting them in and removing them. Because of all these difficulties, and the fact that they make me even less coordinated and more lacking in depth perception, I can't wear them to work. So I didn't wear them today, even though I'm supposed to be wearing them every day. And did I mention I'm suddenly working four times a week?

Shortly after one cashier at work left to go live a real life and get married, another quit. Another cashier/supervisor/kitchen worker person is also leaving to go and teach in another town with his soon-to-be wife. And another cashier is planning to leave. If that happens, my sister and I will be the only two girls and the only two who only work out the front. I mean, certainly, a few of the guys in the kitchen work as cashiers occasionally, but the cashier numbers are dwindling. Significantly. Seriously. It's a desperate situation. It's a good thing it's holidays.

So I worked Saturday and today, and I'm working tomorrow, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday again. My feet are permanently sore.

Speaking of sore feet, I went walking on Friday with a friend. Nearly 4.5km, which I personally find extremely impressive, given the hilly area we live in. Makes me feel slightly less unhealthy. Or it would, if we hadn't stopped to have a picnic with scones, softdrink and iceblocks.

Now I'm off. I realize this post is a little lacking in detail, but I have other things to do in the next hour. You see, in my house, there exists a little something called an internet block. 10pm till 4am. I'm 15, and I'm on holidays for seven more weeks. Sometimes I just don't quite see my parents' logic.

Honestly.
